The head of all things creative at iD, Kevin Laurino is an aesthetics-driven visual thinker. The self-admitted typography nerd is also an LA native, and he draws inspiration from both the time-tested, thoughtful design of Palatino and the crashing waves of the Pacific.
A trained graphic artist with a bachelor’s in Communication Design from Chico State, Kevin’s pre-iD experience includes work as a creative for a variety of entertainment companies in Southern California, such as Disney, Fox Sports, EA Games, Ignition Print and Guitar Center. His design knowledge also includes experience in the fashion industry.
Kevin’s days at iD are varied. He manages web projects daily. He conceptualizes logos often. He oversees photo shoots regularly. He even takes over the grill at company barbecues as needed. He believes in design that speaks for itself, and with each piece establishes that all-important visual communication. He is all about creating new experiences, whether in personal interactions with iD vendors and partners, or on bike rides to the beach with his backpack full of art supplies.
